Once again we are back visiting Vida Animal rescue.
Video transcript
Andrew
(0:00) I’m Andrew Ledford and we are at Vida Animal Rescue. (0:06) We’re going to be going inside here in just a minute and taking a look at some of the dogs they have up for adoption. (0:12) Here they come.
(0:14) We are back at Vida Animal Rescue and once again we have Bella helping us learn more about some of the dogs available for adoption. (0:29) Okay, so we are back. (0:31) You can see we changed to our original human.
(0:36) I guess dog handler, human, volunteer.
Bella
(0:40) Whatever you want to call it.
Andrew
(0:42) So we have a very cute little dog today. (0:46) Very cute. (0:47) This one’s just and I love the tongue on this one.
(0:51) Can you tell us a little bit about Pepper?
Bella
(0:54) Yeah, so this is Pepper. (0:55) She’s at least a six-year-old Chihuahua. (0:59) Very sweet, very docile.
(1:01) She’s the perfect lap dog for anybody looking for just a cute, calm, quiet little girl. (1:08) I’ve never heard her bark. (1:12) Great with other dogs, great with cats, kids, anybody in sight.
Andrew
(1:18) And we were just eating a little bit before we started this and she was so cute how she would come around to all of us. (1:24) Not jump up, not beg, just be she was just being very cute.
Bella
(1:29) Checking in on us and she took a nice little nap on the lap too.
Andrew
(1:35) And she looks like she would just really fit in nicely. (1:39) How is she with housebreaking? (1:40) Do you know?
Bella
(1:41) That I don’t. (1:42) She’s in the office and the office dogs have potty pads in here so they’re never knowing who’s going on it, who’s not. (1:49) So that part’s a little harder to say but with how old she is and she did come from a home and the owners just let her go and didn’t come back for her sadly.
(1:59) So I’m sure I’m sure she does have some house training but she might need a little a little reminder when she’s in a home again.
Andrew
(2:06) So she’d be okay if she had pads?
Bella
(2:08) Oh yeah.
Andrew
(2:09) Yeah, usually I try not to do that but small dogs oftentimes that’s the most convenient thing.
Bella
(2:16) Yeah, especially with seniors it’s a little easier.
Andrew
(2:20) But she is she was very good before we started getting any video. (2:26) She was jumping around on the table, jumping off, so you know very confident as far as getting up and down.
Bella
(2:34) Oh yeah, yeah and she’s one just she loves just to be in your lap. (2:39) She’d rather be held and cuddled and she’s not really a big player, doesn’t play with toys, a very calm dog for a very, you know, nice relaxing calm family. (2:50) Great lap dog, perfect for all ages.
(2:54) She doesn’t seem bothered by them. (2:56) She hangs out with them but I don’t see her, you know, she doesn’t play around or anything like that. (3:00) Just with her age she’d rather just be with people but she gets along great with dogs.
Andrew
(3:05) Yeah, from what I saw she was with other dogs and she just kind of hung out with them. (3:09) Yeah, nothing exaggerated as far as activity but just kind of they’re there and check out the people.
Bella
(3:19) Yeah, she socializes but that’s as far as Pepper goes.
Andrew
(3:23) Very good. (3:25) Let’s see the next dog we have.
Bella
(3:28) Say bye Pepper. (3:30) I wish you showed them your tongue.
Andrew
(3:31) Yeah, maybe we’ll get her over here. (3:34) Good girl. (3:35) She’s really looking to you for it.
(3:41) Good girl. (3:42) Oh, you have your tongue in now. (3:45) That was the first thing I noticed with her.
(3:48) Yeah, when I saw her in the yard and then in here in the office and a little side tongue.
Bella
(3:55) Yeah, this hangs out the side of her mouth. (3:58) She fell asleep like that too.
Andrew
(4:01) Not going to do it for us now. (4:03) They’re a little bit, a little bit.
Bella
(4:08) She’s a little camera shy.
Andrew
(4:11) Yeah, you’re a good girl.
Bella
(4:13) You know, she’s very affectionate. (4:15) She loves to give kisses and just just cuddle up with you. (4:21) Very sweet old girl.
Andrew
(4:22) Did you say she was surrendered by her owner?
Bella
(4:25) So, she’s gotten out of her home before and the owners have come back um but this time around she came back and the owners never did so we kind of just have a feeling that they’re just sadly done with her but she’s getting lots of love and attention here and we’ll find the perfect home for her.
Andrew
(4:45) Yep, so she is looking for a new home. (4:47) Oh, she’s gonna jump. (4:51) Okay, very good.
(4:52) Let’s see the next dog. (4:54) Yeah, say bye-bye. (4:57) Okay, so now we have another puppy here.
(5:01) Only adolescent. (5:03) You say this one’s probably around eight months old, ten months old?
Bella
(5:06) Yeah, so yeah, so this is Ruby. (5:09) She’s a Chihuahua mix. (5:11) Yeah, she’s about 10 months old.
(5:13) Great with other dogs. (5:15) She’s in a little, she’s in a dog house. (5:18) It’s like a whole, a whole room with some other small dogs and she does great.
(5:23) She plays with them. (5:24) She’s very quiet. (5:26) She seems good with cats.
(5:28) We haven’t had any issues with her when she was in the office with other cats. (5:32) Very friendly, very attentive, very loving, very treat motivated, food driven.
Andrew
(5:40) She’s the most food motivated I’ve seen today.
Bella
(5:45) With being a puppy, she will need that basic puppy training but with her being treat and food motivated, that shouldn’t be too much of an issue. (5:55) She does good on leash, loves just to run around and play. (5:58) Great apartment dog so long as she has a little grass or a little patio to run on or just even playing fetch at a best friend.
Andrew
(6:10) What color do you call this?
Bella
(6:12) I’d say like a golden fawn mixture maybe, like a beige gold even. (6:18) She’s a very pretty color, very, very happy tail. (6:22) She’s one of our sweetest pups.
(6:26) How long have you had her? (6:29) Since April, May, so she’s been here quite, she’s grown up in the shelter pretty much for quite some time and she was even on a news interview and she’s never gotten a single application. (6:42) She’s the sweetest girl ever.
(6:44) She will make a great addition to any family. (6:46) She is perfect with kids, many people and kids played with her at the adoption event and she took every pet hug, kiss, cuddle she got from everybody. (6:57) She is the great, great family dog.
Andrew
(7:00) So she likes kids.
Bella
(7:02) Oh yeah.
Andrew
(7:04) You’re a good dog. (7:07) Oh she’s finding crumbs I left. (7:10) There you go.
(7:13) You’re a good kid. (7:15) Yeah good.
Bella
(7:16) She’s so cute.
Andrew
(7:17) She’s very soft. (7:18) Oh a little bit.
Bella
(7:20) She’s a very calm puppy on top of that. (7:22) She has her fun, has her energy moments, but she’s a very just relaxed laid back dog though.
Andrew
(7:28) I don’t know what to make of being off the ground this far.
Bella
(7:32) It’s okay, good dog. (7:36) She’s watching the kitties now. (7:39) They’re dumping their food.
Andrew
(7:42) Good kid.
Bella
(7:43) That’s why I even think like a terrier mix, just chihuahuas normally don’t have this long curve. (7:49) Yeah so I think like chihuahua like terrier mix maybe, but she’s a little puppy so it’ll be interesting to see her features come out more too as she grows. (7:59) Hopefully she doesn’t grow up here anymore.
Andrew
(8:02) I’m just gonna see if I have a small toy, but I don’t.
Bella
(8:06) Oh I can probably grab one next. (8:08) Good dog.
Andrew
(8:09) Good. (8:11) Okay very good. (8:14) Oh yes.
(8:15) Okay well we bring the next one out. (8:18) Say bye Ruby. (8:20) Say bye.
(8:22) Okay so now this dog, it looks like this is a long dog, short, so I’m guessing maybe a little dachshund.
Bella
(8:31) Yeah she’s definitely probably mixed with like a terrier for sure. (8:36) So this is Amber. (8:37) She’s about one year old, one years old.
(8:40) She is very sweet. (8:42) She loves to run around in the kennels in the grass. (8:46) Very good with other dogs, good with kids, good with other people.
(8:51) She’s the perfect addition into any family no matter age, energy wise, everything all the above. (9:00) She can be cat tested if needed. (9:03) We do have some pretty playful kittens right now and she doesn’t seem interested in them at all which is a good sign, but we can still fully cat test her as well.
(9:15) What’s the matter? (9:17) He has treats. (9:19) Say hi.
(9:20) Good girl Amber.
Andrew
(9:22) Yeah I think she does not like the table.
Bella
(9:25) Yeah and it’s just very chaotic right now too. (9:29) So just a new environment for her but she warms up pretty quickly and she just her full fun personality comes out and she’s just a little weenie on the run.
Andrew
(9:41) So how long have you had her?
Bella
(9:43) We just got her the end of September so only like two weeks.
Andrew
(9:47) Oh that’s great. (9:48) So she’s really ready to just transition right away.
Bella
(9:52) Oh yeah. (9:53) Yeah so she was a stray. (9:55) She came in with some other dogs so we’re still learning them but we’ve seen a lot of their true colors already and she’s just the perfect all-around family dog for any type of family so she will fit perfectly in with anybody.
Andrew
(10:11) Perfect yeah.
Bella
(10:12) Very smooth coat. (10:13) She does.
Andrew
(10:14) I love that.
Bella
(10:14) She’s very healthy. (10:16) She came in a little overweight but it adds to her personality though.
Andrew
(10:21) She’s an American dog.
Bella
(10:24) You are a little weenie though huh? (10:26) Yeah you’re a good girl.
Andrew
(10:28) Good.
Bella
(10:29) You’re such a sweet girl. (10:32) Good girl. (10:33) Hi.
(10:35) You gonna say hi to everybody? (10:37) Say hi.
Andrew
(10:40) She’s ignoring me. (10:41) That’s unusual. (10:42) They usually want to be over here.
(10:44) Come on.
Bella
(10:45) It’s okay.
Andrew
(10:47) I want to get back to my food.
Bella
(10:49) Yeah huh. (10:50) There’s still just a lot of movement going on right now that’s distracting her a little bit. (10:57) Good girl.
(10:58) She was keen on you. (11:01) Yeah in the beginning. (11:02) Yeah.
(11:04) But well I’ll bring the next dog out. (11:07) The hugging is over. (11:10) I’ll bring out your friend now.
Andrew
(11:11) Okay yeah let’s bring in the next dog. (11:17) Okay so now we have another light dog that came in and this one looked pretty active on her way in. (11:26) Can you tell us a little bit about her?
Bella
(11:28) So this is Angel. (11:29) She’s a one-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix.
Andrew
(11:31) That explains it.
Bella
(11:33) Yeah. (11:34) Yeah she’s very energetic. (11:36) She loves to play.
(11:38) She loves to run around and just she loves the zoomies. (11:41) That’s her favorite thing to do. (11:43) Very loving.
(11:44) Very greetable. (11:45) She always comes and says hi. (11:48) Gives us a little hug and a kiss and goes back to her zoomies.
(11:51) Great with kids. (11:53) Great with all dogs. (11:55) We have some kittens yelling at her and she doesn’t seem to be that interested.
(12:01) We personally haven’t cat tested her yet so we don’t know how well she does but I’d say her being yelled by kittens is a pretty good sign that you know she’s not that worried. (12:11) Not that into them.
Andrew
(12:13) And you’ve had her how long?
Bella
(12:16) She came in with Amber so she’s just about that two week mark. (12:20) Okay. (12:20) Yeah we got a whole bunch like all at once.
Andrew
(12:23) They all came at once. (12:24) They came as not quite a family. (12:26) More like like just a whole group.
Bella
(12:29) Yeah. (12:30) I know she’s she’s very loving. (12:32) Very energetic.
(12:33) Perfect family dog. (12:35) Her her size she won’t get any bigger. (12:37) The fact she’s good with kids helps a lot too.
(12:41) That you know.
Andrew
(12:41) So you have seen her with children then.
Bella
(12:43) Yes. (12:44) Yeah we have kids that come and they’ll interact with the dogs and stuff and it’s a good way for us to you know see who does well with what. (12:51) Is it are they better with certain age groups or whatever.
(12:54) But we had some fairly younger kids like 10 if not a little younger and she did perfect. (13:00) She just loved to run and play with them with the toys and was amazing.
Andrew
(13:05) A lot of times because they’re so in children are so energetic and have that erratic motion and yeah they’re one way and then the other the dogs kind of don’t. (13:16) Some dogs. (13:17) Yeah.
(13:18) Or will play a little too rough.
Bella
(13:20) Exactly. (13:21) But with her size too it helps with that with you know. (13:25) How old do you think she is?
(13:26) Um we’d say roughly about a year.
Andrew
(13:28) Yeah yeah. (13:30) Very good. (13:32) Yeah you’re a very good dog.
Bella
(13:34) She’s as you can see very calm and very relaxing too. (13:38) So you know at night when the kids are getting ready for bed and the parents are relaxing um you know she’ll be right there just sleeping on her bed and relaxing with everyone too which is which is good. (13:49) She knows how to kind of control that that um activity level too.
Andrew
(13:53) Some self-control.
Bella
(13:55) Yeah. (13:57) Yeah. (13:57) Very smooth coat you have.
Andrew
(13:59) Where did these dogs come from?
Bella
(14:03) Um I’d have to check to see which city.
Andrew
(14:07) Yeah.
Bella
(14:07) Yeah we have a few different cities that um that we get strays from so it’s especially getting so many at once from all over it’s hard to keep track of who came from who but I’d have to look at her records.
Andrew
(14:22) They’re so cute. (14:24) So people come here to see the the pets and to adopt from all over?
Bella
(14:28) Oh yeah.
Andrew
(14:29) Oh yeah.
Bella
(14:30) I mean we’ve had people from Arizona even come like so we’re if people are interested and can’t make the drive but they seriously want them we we drive to them. (14:41) Oh my goodness. (14:42) We drive all the way down you know to San Diego and farther and all the way up north to San Francisco like we make that trip to get these dogs the best homes we can find for them.
(14:53) That’s a commute. (14:54) Oh yeah but it’s knowing that they’ll be loved and well taken care of it’s it’s so worth it rather than drive that far than them growing up in a shelter. (15:04) It’s knowing they go to a loving family is worth more than anything.
Andrew
(15:08) Yeah. (15:09) Yeah. (15:09) So do we have another dog?
Bella
(15:12) We do. (15:13) We still have a few more.
Andrew
(15:14) Okay great and are we going to get to see Opal?
Bella
(15:17) We can.
Andrew
(15:18) Okay. (15:18) Yeah.
Bella
(15:19) Yeah. (15:19) We’ll bring Opal. (15:20) Oh of course.
(15:22) Are you ready to go back? (15:23) Yeah. (15:24) Are you ready?
(15:26) Yeah. (15:26) Okay. (15:27) We’ll go now.
(15:28) Say bye. (15:29) Say bye-bye. (15:30) Bye-bye.
(15:31) Oh maybe she doesn’t know that.
Andrew
(15:37) Good girl. (15:42) We have another dog. (15:44) This is another little dog and you say this one is came to you from La Puente.
(15:51) Yes.
Bella
(15:52) So we’ve had him since about early middest June around like the 12th. (15:58) So we’ve had him for quite some time. (16:01) He is a very silly goofy boy.
(16:04) He has the cutest little little sideways run. (16:07) Very loving. (16:09) Very sweet.
(16:10) Gets along great with other dogs. (16:13) I’m not too sure about cats but you know if that’s something the adopter’s interested in and they have a cat you know we can cat test Mojo to make sure that he is good with those cats.
Andrew
(16:25) This is Mojo.
Bella
(16:26) Yes. (16:26) He’s about a year year and a half give or take. (16:31) He’s still pretty young but he’s he’s a goofy little dude but he’s he’s great.
(16:39) He’s one of our favorites around here. (16:41) He just has such a unique personality and he’s good with kids so he can fit in with any family personality of a human but he’d just fit in great with any family.
Andrew
(16:55) Good dog. (16:56) He wanted the treats a little while ago.
Bella
(16:59) He’s like I like the smell.
Andrew
(17:01) He is air scenting and maybe the cats the kittens.
Bella
(17:05) Yeah but he’s a great dog. (17:08) He doesn’t I don’t know he doesn’t like bark or yell too much. (17:13) You know I mean he’ll do it every now and then type thing to get your attention but it’s not a consistent bark or whine or yelp either.
(17:21) So that part that part is nice too. (17:23) He’s a fairly quiet boy for the most part.
Andrew
(17:26) Was he kind of thin when he came in?
Bella
(17:28) Yeah yeah he was skin and bones.
Andrew
(17:31) He just has that seal look.
Bella
(17:34) Yeah are you posing for the camera? (17:37) What a good boy. (17:40) Very pretty boy.
(17:43) Look at him smile. (17:45) He’s camera ready.
Andrew
(17:46) He’s like let’s do this.
Bella
(17:49) He’s like where’s my makeup team. (17:52) Oh you’re such a good boy Mojo.
Andrew
(17:56) And a great name.
Bella
(17:57) Yeah it fits his little personality. (17:59) That was the best part. (18:02) Good boy.
(18:08) Good boy. (18:10) Good boy. (18:12) Good job Mojo.
(18:18) Good boy.
Andrew
(18:21) He has that reflex. (18:23) The scratch reflex. (18:24) Good boy.
(18:27) You know I think one thing. (18:30) Can we get you up here kid? (18:32) Good boy.
(18:34) Hi. (18:35) He’s going oh I’m done standing. (18:37) But his tail is so unique.
Bella
(18:40) Yeah.
Andrew
(18:41) Oh maybe it was. (18:44) What do you think?
Bella
(18:46) I definitely think something had to have happened. (18:48) I feel like it might have even just slammed in a door or something honestly.
Andrew
(18:52) Sadly.
Bella
(18:54) I know one of our other dogs came in the same way but like his whole tail is like that. (18:58) It happens. (19:01) Yeah that too.
Andrew
(19:03) The dog isn’t quite in all the way.
Bella
(19:06) Yeah but I mean he still loves to wag and throw it around like it’s the perfect healthiest tail. (19:12) Oh yeah it’s the cutest little thing ever. (19:15) Okay let’s bring the next dog in.
Andrew
(19:17) Say bye Mojo. (19:18) Now we have a cute but a little sensitive dog here. (19:25) And what kind of dog is this?
Bella
(19:27) She’s a terrier mix. (19:30) Thinks like a chihuahua terrier mix. (19:32) Okay.
(19:32) Her name’s Boo. (19:33) She’s like four-ish four or five months old. (19:37) Her whole life she’s grown up here so that’s why I can’t fully remember how old she is because we’ve had her for quite some time.
Andrew
(19:45) She also looks like a long short dog.
Bella
(19:47) Yeah what’s weird is her mom was a chihuahua mix. (19:51) So I’m like I think she has more definitely dad’s traits. (19:54) But no she’s she’s normally very energetic.
(19:58) I think it’s just a lot of new things right now. (20:00) A lot of commotion. (20:02) But she’s a very fun happy energetic puppy.
(20:06) She really won’t get much bigger than this. (20:09) She’s been this size for for quite some time. (20:12) She came in in a litter of like five six and she’s the only one left.
Andrew
(20:18) Oh my what did the other dogs look like?
Bella
(20:20) The other ones some of them look straight like actual chihuahuas and then there was another one just a complete tan version of her. (20:27) So they were all kind of mixed and then one was even had like fluffy long hair. (20:32) So it was a whole mixture of babies.
Andrew
(20:35) Yeah I have seen that before. (20:37) Yeah one will look just like you’d expect. (20:40) Another looks like the mother’s side.
(20:42) Another the father’s side. (20:44) Some just like the average 1957 mix.
Bella
(20:47) Yeah no she’s she truly is really great. (20:51) She gets along with all other dogs. (20:53) She plays in a big back patio area all day long where they just run around and frolic and pounce on each other and throw water and food bowls around.
Andrew
(21:03) Yeah I have seen her and she is when she’s interacting with the other dogs she’s very energetic.
Bella
(21:09) Oh yeah.
Andrew
(21:09) Much different than she is here on the table.
Bella
(21:12) Yeah I think it’s just a lot of new things going on but she’s already slowly coming around and perking up which is a very good sign.
Andrew
(21:20) Do you have your volunteers walk with her much?
Bella
(21:25) Yes and no. (21:26) She gets a lot of exercise more than the other dogs so not all the time she’ll get a walk but we definitely have some volunteers who are more comfortable with small dogs just like this so when we do we you know we offer them more of like our puppies just like Boo to get that extra exercise of what they need. (21:43) She’s great with kids too perfect because she’s a puppy she can fit into any family and be trained more or whatever.
Andrew
(21:51) How old did you say she is?
Bella
(21:52) I’d say roughly like four to five months old. (21:54) She’s still pretty young but one of those perfect ages that can fully just train puppy train tricks whatever that case may be and she will adapt very well and she’s grown up in a shelter so she doesn’t know a home yet so she will need help with potty training as well but with that love care and attention she will fit into any family that gives her that time and effort as well.
Andrew
(22:20) And she’s taking food nicely.
Bella
(22:23) Yeah.
Andrew
(22:23) So that’s a really good sign so there’s really good recovery with her even though she’s a little sensitive.
Bella
(22:28) Right and she’s needed those few minutes to warm up and her personality starts to come out already and she truly is a great girl. (22:37) It’s sad to see her without all her siblings but she’s gotten along well with all the other dogs and still just having the time of her life. (22:45) Good.
Andrew
(22:46) Now that she’s standing we can see her wagging tail.
Bella
(22:50) Yeah.
Andrew
(22:51) Good dog.
Bella
(22:53) Her personality’s coming out. (22:55) Good girl.
Andrew
(22:57) Good dog. (22:58) Good. (22:58) Good girl.
(23:00) You have some nice good eye contact.
Bella
(23:03) Yeah. (23:05) Good girl.
Andrew
(23:06) Good girl. (23:08) You’re such a good dog.
Bella
(23:10) Just with that little time and patience she’ll she’ll learn and adapt very well to any new environment that she gets put in as well.
Andrew
(23:18) Yeah that’s great. (23:21) And the cute ears.
Bella
(23:23) I know her little her big little ears on her face are the cutest things ever. (23:27) They just flop so freely.
Andrew
(23:31) So we can see she’s pretty responsive.
Bella
(23:34) Yeah very food driven which as a puppy too helps a lot more with those home trainings and different things as well when going into a new home.
Andrew
(23:43) Good girl. (23:44) If the dog’s motivated then you can do a whole lot with them.
Bella
(23:47) Oh yeah.
Andrew
(23:47) And it helps overcome a lot of issues that you might have otherwise.
Bella
(23:52) Yeah.
Andrew
(23:52) So you know it makes housebreaking easier. (23:54) It makes having them come to you easier. (23:57) It just makes a whole lot of things easier.
Bella
(23:59) Indeed. (24:01) It’s very good. (24:02) It’s a very good good way to help them adapt into those new environments as well.
Andrew
(24:08) So I heard you’re studying to be a veterinarian.
Bella
(24:11) Yes.
Andrew
(24:12) So the thing about I always think if they’re food motivated then you’re using that part of the autonomic nervous system. (24:19) Yeah. (24:19) The parasympathetic response the counter conditions the sympathetic response which is like fear.
Bella
(24:26) Right.
Andrew
(24:26) Or other things aversives.
Bella
(24:28) Yeah. (24:29) Hi pretty girl.
Andrew
(24:31) So that is always something I like to see when I go out and work with people.
Bella
(24:35) It’s very interesting to like watch and like do connect with those different things as well. (24:40) It’s very it’s it’s cool just to know that background as well and then knowing like okay this is a crazy term whatever but it’s as simple as like you said the eye contact with the treat like just those little things that us is a I don’t know even how to word it but like for one who doesn’t know that background of it it’s it’s so fascinating to learn the like full demeanor and process of it all.
Andrew
(25:05) So I always think of communication has prosody how you say it right inflection.
Bella
(25:09) Yeah.
Andrew
(25:10) There’s haptic communication touch. (25:12) Yeah. (25:13) There’s static communication where it’s just bonding your baby talking.
(25:17) Exactly. (25:18) And so there’s all those things that we do with people and dogs. (25:22) Right.
(25:23) Okay that’s great. (25:25) Do we have another one? (25:27) We do.
(25:27) Oh perfect let’s bring it on in. (25:29) Say bye. (25:30) Go bye everybody.
(25:33) Okay now we are back with the next dog and this is Opal. (25:38) And I have seen Opal when I visited in the past and she was I I just thought she was really a cute dog and very had so much personality and just a great great all-around dog when I was here visiting before she’s a little nervous on the table.
Bella
(25:59) Yeah that’s a new height she hasn’t seen before. (26:02) But no Opal she’s in a like Italian Greyhound Shepherd mix. (26:07) She’s about one and a half.
(26:09) Very very loving very athletic she loves to go on hikes loves to go on walks but her favorite thing and we love it too she loves the pool and she loves water. (26:23) So especially during the heat we’ll fill up a doggy pool mainly for her but you know everyone else can join in too and she will sit there and go in circles for hours in it and she’ll she’ll put her head in the water and just spin in a circle just splashing with her head.
Andrew
(26:38) Like pushing the water with her nose.
Bella
(26:40) Yeah it’s the cutest thing ever and she’ll roll around in it and she is definitely a water dog loves to swim so summer is her favorite season.
Andrew
(26:51) Does she ever blow bubbles in the pool?
Bella
(26:54) Not that I’ve seen but I’m sure you know every time she gets water and she sneezes it out.
Andrew
(26:58) Some dogs will actually stick their nose under the water and blow bubbles.
Bella
(27:03) Oh it’s so cute. (27:06) I know I have the cutest video of her just spinning in the spinning in the pool she loves it she’s great with other dogs she does have a lot of energy so she would benefit greatly in a home where she can get tons and tons of exercise and maybe some pool swims here there I think she would love that very much.
Andrew
(27:27) She does jump a little bit yeah but last time I was here I know that she responds really well to eye contact yeah so that I could keep her from jumping on me just by the proper body language right so she was very responsive.
Bella
(27:42) Hi pretty girl.
Andrew
(27:45) Well you see I last time I saw her I just sort of really liked her.
Bella
(27:49) Oh yeah she’s super cute she’s the sweetest girl ever very loving she although she loves her (27:56) exercise and has that energy she’s also one just to come cuddle up with you and just lay down and (28:01) relax she oh excuse me hiccups are back she feeds just off of your energy how you are in that moment (28:08) if you’re happy and excited she’ll celebrate with you till you guys can’t dance anymore (28:13) and when it’s just time to relax and watch a movie she’ll cuddle and (28:17) lay down right by your side and just relax with you.
Andrew
(28:20) Oh kittens.
Bella
(28:21) She does good with kids she’s great with that um I believe she’s pretty good with cats I don’t know personally if she’s been cat tested but that is something that can happen if needed.
Andrew
(28:33) She’s just really oriented
Bella
(28:34) yeah because they did a little meow yeah and she’s a little wobbly on the table so she’s (28:41) trying to stay grounded on here but still move around and a little too I like her yes (28:47) oh my gosh her pictures on her pet finder with her little ears like that is just the (28:52) cutest thing ever like it just melts your heart you’re so pretty yeah hi
Andrew
(28:59) and then when I see a dog with this much energy I think if they love the ball that’s something (29:05) that you can really use to not only train them but just to burn off some of the energy oh yeah
Bella
(29:12) she’s definitely one with the the chuck it she could probably go for hours with that (29:16) huh good girl you’re gonna have so much fun good
Andrew
(29:21) good yes good hi okay very good well I think that’s going to do it for (29:29) this episode and we will be back with more in the future
